Traditionally an American holiday, the significance of Thanksgiving – giving thanks for and appreciating all that we have in our lives – is universal. You might be far away from your own family but gather your Jakarta family for a sumptuous feast at Sana Sini restaurant at the Pullman Thamrin.

For the first time ever, Sana Sini executive chef Ingo Oldenburg and his team have whipped up an American-sized dinner and brunch buffet. From 27-30 Nov. enjoy not only slow-roasted, flavourful and moist turkey, but all of the traditional side dishes and treats including stuffing, sweet potatoes, cornbread and pies, glorious pies!

But that’s not all, Sana Sini will also have FOUR distinct micro-restaurants, complete with live cooking stations and a la carte items, offering a world of tastes – Chinese, Indonesian, Western, and Japanese. The Japanese display is most impressive with a selection of fresh sashimi, tempura, and other authentic dishes. It’s like Thanksgiving but better at the Pullman Thamrin!

For all of you dedicated brunchers out there, Sana Sini’s mid-morning Thanksgiving spread will definitely impress. You get all of the festive trimmings and micro-restaurant offerings, plus other lux touches. Start your weekend off right with fine-dinning treats including all-you-can-eat foie gras, chili crab, and black-pepper crab.

If you would rather host at home, the hotel’s Makaron Bakeshop is packing up two amazing take-home hampers, which will feed between six to eight people, priced Rp. 1.5 million and Rp. 1.7million. The first option includes a roasted honey-brined turkey served with cranberry sauce and giblet sauce. The second option includes the turkey and sauces, plus corn bread, butter pecan sweet potatoes, creamy corn with beef-bacon bites, glazed carrots, and pumpkin pie. What’s a Thanksgiving without the pumpkin pie?
