From Vietnam to Europe to Singapore and now finally in Pantai Indah Kapuk, Chef Nam Q. Nguyen culinary journey has lead him to create Nam Nam Noodle Bar, a quick and delicious Vietnamese restaurant dedicated to bringing the country’s street food to the masses. Pho sure!
No self-respecting Vietnamese resto would leave off the national dish – pho – off the menu, but Nam Nam excels at this complex-flavoured noodle soup. Take your pick from chicken, beef (including wagyu) slices, and bakso meatballs, which were made from scratch from Nam Nam’s master kitchen, located just above the restaurant. Homemade makes a difference here and you can totally taste it.
Also on the menu are banh mis filled with savoury chicken, spiced beef, and even a catfish and vegetarian option. Rounding out the offerings at Nam Nam are other noodle offerings and tonnes of small plates, which are perfect for sharing. When it comes to small plates, there is something for everyone but our faves includes white cabbage salad, which pairs really well with the prawn and sesame rice crackers, coconut-shrimp paste sugarcane skewers, and the fresh shrimp spring rolls.
Don’t forget to order refreshing beverage (their signatures are the fresh-pressed sugarcane drink with lime leaves and a tamarind soda with sesame seeds and peanuts. And to end the meal, check out Nam Nam’s selection of traditional desserts. They’re refreshing and light – just the perfect thing to top off this healthy clean meal.
