Burgreens celebrates its first anniversary with a unique two-day wellness event named the “Peace Gathering”. Come out to their leafy Rempoa compound on 15-16 Nov. and enjoy a wide-ranging program that includes lots of healthy food, surprising activities such as aura readings, and a free-hug zone!

On Saturday, 15 Nov., the theme is Peacefood Party and of course, Burgreens will be serving up tasty – and ridiculously good for you – treats, plus founders Helga and Max will be teaching raw food courses. And there will be a local super food, smoothie, and raw food bar, yum!

But we’re more excited about some of their one-of-a-kind features including the aura and past life readings, morning yoga sessions, tarot card consultations, and talks on green architecture and the Ayurveda diet. And at the end of the day, everyone gets a green goody bag to take home!

On Sunday, the Spirit Tuning Day is filled with workshops including Meditation 101 by Reza Gunawan, learn different styles and see what works best for you. Meditation can help anyone synchronise his or her body and mind and live a less-stressful life.

The other workshops offered that day are a DIY wooden postcard and healthy smoothie and raw food course. The day kicks off with a nutrition- and power-packed brunch to make sure you have enough energy for the rest of the day.

In addition to being an anniversary party, the Peace Gathering is also the soft launch of Songolas, a rentable green area and sustainable community centre, where Burgreens is located. So if you like Rempoa, you can keep it in mind for special events.

Admission for 15 Nov. is Rp. 275,000 (although early birds can register online for Rp. 250,000 but just until 8 Nov.). On 16 Nov., the classes are individually priced, check the Burgreens blog for more information.
