There are so many things to do in Bali, and a traditional cooking class is one of them. Impress your friends back home with some unique flavours and dishes as you learn how to make classic Indonesian dishes.
The Breezes Bali Resort & Spa, located close to the beach in the hub of Seminyak, is a great hotel for many reasons, including their departure lounge facilities so you can relax before a flight, their four-tiered swimming pool with pool bar, a spa [because everyone deserves a bit of pampering on holiday], not to mention a whole host of activities to keep you busy. Activities include tennis, cinema, a kid’s corner, and – an all-time fave – an authentic cooking lesson!
If you haven’t tried Balinese food yet, you are in for a treat. The heavy use of herbs and spices make each dish mouth-wateringly good, and we promise that you’ll want to ensure you can keep eating these dishes back home. Anyone can take part in the cooking class [even if you are not staying at the hotel], so sign up to either the lunch or dinner option and get ready to embark on an exotic culinary adventure!
During the class you will chop, slice and dice, and learn how to make the unique Balinese paste that the signature dish are made from. Together with the class, you will cook 7 different dishes, including a sweet dessert, before then enjoying your masterpieces. Plus, you’ll be given the recipe book to take home with you [as we all know a few too many cocktails at the pool bar that afternoon are going to play havoc with remembering when to add coconut here and turmeric there!].
Don’t miss out on the chance of taking home some Balinese culture – book a place on the cooking class now and get your chef’s hat at the ready!
Cooking Class is available every day and costs IDR 350.000++ per person. Booking at least 48 hours in advance.
