Legendary Seminyak Café Sisterfields Adds New Breakfast and Lunch Dishes to Their Menu, Plus More Cocktails

September 1, 2016 Amy Nicholson

The number of restaurants and cafes in Seminyak is rising, but one establishment that stands out to tourists, expats and locals alike, has to be Sisterfields. With its prime location in the middle of the bustling shopping district, its fresh and modern décor, plus the delicious food on offer, it’s not hard to see why it’s one of Seminyak’s hotspots!

Sisterfields
The Blueberry & Ricotta Pancake looks divine!

And just when we thought we couldn’t love our fave boutique café any more, they go and launch a fabulous new menu! Now don’t fret Sisterfield addicts, they are keeping the firm faves on the menu [have you tried their Pulled Pork Charcoal Roll?!], but some dishes have been a little jazzed up. Their Brioche French Toast, for instance, now comes with matcha custard, banana & yoghurt sorbet, banana crumble and Canadian Maple syrup… #drool.

So what can we expect from the new menu? Breakfast buffs can enjoy those traditional classics but with a special Sisterfields twists, such as newbies like the Double Cheese & Ham Toastie [maybe one to nurse the hangover], Garlic Fried Eggs, Brekkie Burrito or the Blueberry & Ricotta Pancake. Those rolling out of bed a little after brunch should sample the mouth-wateringly fresh Chermoula Butterflied Sardines or for meat lovers, try the Crispy Skin Pork Belly with apple & fennel slaw, Granny Smith puree and caramelised cider vinegar reduction. We want it all!

And it’s not just about the exquisite presentation at Sisterfields that will get you. Executive Chef Jethro Vincent’s cutting-edge cuisine is all about the fresh local produce, so the menu makeover comes at a time where seasons are changing. This can be seen in new dishes such as the Chilled Poached Squid Salad with ingredients of green peas and bottarga, as well as the Panzanella Salad with Halloumi stuffed Zucchini Flowers.

The cocktails have been jazzed up too

And finally, the cocktails! These come shaken… Try the new gin and elderflower EastSide for a refreshing beverage to cool down on a hot evening, or make like pirates and try the new Apple & Sage Sour [with gold rum and apple juice].

Make sure you check out the new menu for all the mouth-wateringly delicious options on offer, and we’ll most likely see you there. Every day. All day.
