Beep beep, your meals of wheels are here! There are so many options for eating out in Bali, but one that seems to be becoming more popular is grabbing a snack or a beverage from a jazzed-up VW Kombi Van parked up on the side of the road! Everyone seems to be cashing in on this funky and hip way of serving food, including some big hotels on the island, like the Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak. Here are our picks of the best food trucks on the island to go to for a tasty taco, refreshing mojito or healthy juice.
What The Truck
The truck is located on the pedestrian walk in front of the Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak hotel, and offers tasty tacos and refreshing mojitos. What we love most is the paint job, designed by an Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar student.
What The Truck, Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak, Jalan Camplung Tanduk No 103 SP, Dhyana Pura, Seminyak, p. +62 (0) 2361 8499 600.
On The Juice
By day, pick up a healthy and fresh juice from On The Juice, and by night [or by day too!] pick up a fruity alcoholic cocktail. They even have DJs playing at their Sunset On The Juice parties!

When you combine beer and trucks, what do you get? The Kombi Keg! The brand was started in Australia and has just hit Bali shores. To promote their arrival on the island, they are stopping on lots of Bali beaches and handing out free beers, so keep an eye out!
This hip hangout in Canggu is the perfect place to catch a sunset. Lay out the blankets provided and grab an ice cold Bintang or a coconut from the truck. Evenings don’t get much better than that!
The Lawn, The Lawn, Batu Bolong on the right hand side, just in front of Hotel Tugu.
El Matador Truck
The location varies, so make sure you check their Facebook page as the El Matador Truck is well worth a visit. Indulge in a melted cheese toasted sandwich or a naughty but nice burger, whilst you take in the funky beats!
El Matador Truck, 66 Beach, Seminyak and Canggu, +62 (0)819 9907 2371.
Get you Mexican fix with Mexicombi, located in Sanur! They cook with fresh, hand-picked organic ingredients, and their Mexican chef cooks up a mean taco and burrito.
Mexicombi, Jalan Tamblingan 168, Sanur.
If you love a burger or hot dog, then pay Mr. Sausage a visit. Everything is homemade and homegrown, including the buns which are made at the local bakery. Plus, they do veg burgers for the vegans out there!
Mr. Sausage, next to Milk and Madu, Canggu.
