Asuka’s approaches to traditional Japanese dishes are underlined by the cutting-edge creativity of the restaurant’s Executive Japanese Chef, Nishiura Osamu whereas food is treated as a modern art.
Situated at the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta, Asuka introduces a modern and exquisite Japanese dining experience to Jakarta, consulted by the famous Ronnie Chia, the owner of Singapore’s highly acclaimed Tatsuya Japanese Restaurant. Savour the best out of the restaurant’s menu in Asuka’s modern Zen-designed ambience. Designed by Monolith Designers and Consultants PTE, LTD Singapore, the restaurant is divided into three distinct rooms. First is the Classical Sushi Bar where you can enjoy a prompt service, which is important in raw food consumption. Next is the dining area that has a contemporary feel to it as a result of impeccable artworks using Japanese traditional materials such as handmade paper and Kimono fabric. Meanwhile, the Tatami and private rooms have the Japanese Tea House feel to them. Folding doors between two private rooms allows for flexibility in catering bigger group of diners.
Nothing beats the remarkable taste of high quality, fresh ingredients. So superior ingredients are highlighted at Asuka. Flown daily from Tsukiji and Fukuoka fish markets in Japan, you can get more than just salmon, tuna and shrimps as varied premium ingredients are available, including the blue fin tuna and abalone. When you opt for a gastronomic adventure, go for the Omakase, a multi-course tasting menu, where the choices of dishes served is left up to the chef.
